New walls on High Stool Chelmorton for 2015
Heavy snow on Boxing Day and all clear for New year in main Street Chelmorton, those walking High stool were treated to new walls for new year as the stone builders were preparing a smart new run of the limestone wall on the High Stool track. First Sunday of the month at St johns was family service, blue sky and very cold icy walk to the church, the congregation met in the Lady Chaple with david Race taking the family service, first duty was to take the three kings to the crib, Tracey Morgause and Carole Allcock took on the task to deliver the kings to the hay, church warden Irene Ottey was on hand with tea coffee and chocolate biscuits to celebrate the first family service of the new year. The next date for your diary is Jan 24th a MAP meeting at the Village Institute for all and everyone to input to the future of the church of St Johns in Chelmorton.
