Derbyshire Scout Archaeology turns one year old
Derbyshire Scout Archaeology has just celebrated one year of inspiring young people to engage with heritage.
Team Lead Morgause was able to celebrate the badge's milestone with a group of Buxton Explorer Scouts (ages 14-18) and an awesome rainbow cake donated by local baker Donna Rainbow.
The badge has had an amazing first year having awarded over 100 badges and won an Archaeological Achievement Award from the Council for British Archaeology.
But 2022 is looking even bigger with projects every major school holiday and our first Scout -led excavation.
