Access success for Chelmorton mum
Mum from highest village in Derbyshire scores top mark success in University access course. Belinda Howard from Chelmorton, one of the highest villages in the Derbyshire Peak District, was presented the AIM awards Access diploma by the Vice Chancellor of Derby University for completing the Health professional qualification at Buxton & Leek College.
Belinda scored one of the highest scores of the academic year and is set to proceed to a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Derby, continuing her studies in the health sector academic stream.
Belinda was at the university awards evening August 23rd and is pictured with Further Education governor of Buxton & Leek College, Carl Lomas MBE & the Vice-Chancellor of Derby, Prof. Kath Mitchell.
