Annie Grace Naylor begins May heat wave for full church christening.  Sunday sunshine for May 18th as the golden locust of St Johns Chelmorton shone in the light. Folk all about the village passed through shiny new paint work of the iron gates of the church. Vicar John Fountain took service for a family baptism in the style of the Ionian community with Celtic tradition for the child of Annie Grace Naylor who was born Sept 14th 2013. Hymns 'for the beauty of the earth' & 'take my life and let it be' rang out before a rousing finish to 'one more step along the road'. Little Annie Grace had been so well behaved, vicar John asked for an applause for her and it was a standing ovation, outside into the sunshine of a building heat-wave bellow an open blue sky for a perfect day.
