Chelmorton girl takes three awards in one from Derbyshire Scout Commissioner
Derbyshire Scout Morgause Lomas from Chelmorton south of Buxton was at Chesterfield HQ with Derbyshire, Scout County Commissioner Tom Stoddart to get three in a row.

Morgause bagged a Commissioners award for her work at Peak 2015, then a top Chief Scout Diamond award and stayed on her feet to be presented with her Duke of Edinburgh Gold. Making it three in a row for Scouting’s top awards in an evening of celebration at Chesterfield Scout HQ.
Morgause completed her DofE with Scouts, she took to the water for her adventure week completing a sailing expedition in the English Chanel.
Morgause was awarded the Commissioners award for her ambassadorial role duties at Peak 2015 Scout camp at Chatsworth,Oliver Stephenson the High Sherriff of Derbyshire thanked Morgause for her tour of Peak 2015 camp in the summer, the camp hosted 7500 youngsters in the grounds of the Duke of Devonshire’s Chatsworth estate, Morgause was one of a group of ambassadors chosen to escort key visitors on a tour of the camp showcasing Scouts to the World.
The Chief Scout Diamond award is one step from the top Queens Scout badge. Morgause is an Explorer Scout with Mafekin unit at Willington, Derbyshire where she attended school at Repton before moving to Kings Canterbury for her A levels.
