Derbyshire Caravan Club visit
Derbyshire group of the Caravan Club chose the last week of June for a visit to Chelmorton Camped in the centre of the village, 10 mins walk to the Church Inn gastro pub, the low at 1500 feet made a true Derbyshire Dales backdrop for the weekend meet in the heartland of the Peak District. England stones smart and arranged with clarity on the hill. Summer weather a little damp but enough sunshine to enjoy walks to five wells, the ditch and high stool amongst a splendid visit to the spa water market town of Buxton for Saturday market, alook at the Devonshire Dome and walk in te Victorina landscape of the Pavillion gardens.
