Chelmorton Harvest Festival at St John's Main Street
Harvest Festival, eleven hundred feet above sea level in Chelmorton at the church of St John the Baptist below the golden locust of the spire on Main Street.
October sees array of hay bales cut in what may be the last of the sunshine.
Donations of food and other harvest produce welcomed, as is decoration of the church from Saturday October 6th.
A harvest supper will then follow at the Church Inn pub, including judging of the Festival marrow competition. Bidding for harvest produce will start from seven pm followed by food (5 punds per head) please advise Irene Ottey of you are attending the supper, on 01298 85235
