Chelmorton Village festival Tractors and two wheels between bunting, fire engines and ambulances for great festival family day
Soft sunshine in Main street for Saturday festival, Fire engines, ambulances, tractors motorcycles and police vans between the church exhibitions and the dog show. Tea and cake at the photo exhibition by the street market, a summer festival day of Peak District fun, visitors to village walked the scarecrow route from mole catcher to high winds, up Main Street and down Main street stopping to put coins in the wishing well of Illy Willy troughs.
Three lambs, four months old, guess the combined weight to win a dinner at the Palace Hotel. Tractors old and new lined Main street in farming tradition that followed a farm implement exhibition in the church. The church also showcased history of the recent snow with graphic images of giant drifts blocking the local roads.
