2017 Buxton Carnival float entry for Chelmorton
A brand new tractor, wall to wall Elvis, farm trailer and square bales for town carnival fun.
David Bagshaw had just taken delivery of a brand new tractor, perfect timescale for the carnival and launch of Chelmorton festival week, A giant festival advert board took front and centre stage of the Chelmorton float. John Gould organised traditional square bales and this year saw bench seat for the less-young Elvis of the village.
Elvis, large and small, young and old rocked to a very loud sound system, Spring Gardens to the Market Place rocking to the King.
