Tideswell treasure hunt lands on Main Street Chelmorton Jun 25th

Summer festivals in full swing, Hollinsclough fete was Saturday June 25th marquees and fell race over Chrome Hill. For the same Saturday it was Tideswell Carnival. Baywatch Babes in the sunshine on a huge trailer shone out in the sunshine of the Capital of the Peak.

For Sunday evening Tideswell had organised a treasure hunt that toured the Ditch at Chelmorton and moved onto Main Street. ‘Rev Herod was an answer and those who headed for the green bench often found Pinocchio. 18.45 was not a date but a time for the ladies! Clever tests of questions stretched many of the Tideswell teams visiting Chelmorton who included scouts and girl guides. Super clever hunters had even brought binoculars to be sure of the spelling. Teams at the rails of Primitive Hall in Main Street Chelmorton in the Sunday evening sunshine.
