2026 Dates for Chelmorton – Summer festival – The Chelmorton Chase 2026 running race 20th Sept
Looking to the 2026 year head, Chelmorton, Derbyshire, Eleven hundred feet above sea level sets the 2026 dates for fun - focused from Main Street SK17 9SH in the heart of the Peak National Park Derbyshire.
- Chelmorton Red tractor entry of Elvis float in Buxton Carnival 11th July 2026
- Chelmorton Village Festival 16th-19th July 2026 – The wheelbarrow race returns
- Chelmorton Chase – five mile multi terrain fell race 20th Sept 2026
Elvis will return on the red tractor float for Chelmorton entry to the Buxton Carnival. The summer village festival follows, with a track record of epic scarecrow presentations, the wheelbarrow race and tractors in Main Street.
Moving to autumn, the multi-terrain running race is set for Sept 20th 2026.
First quiz evening at the Chelmorton War Memorial Village Institute for 2026 is set for February 15th at seven thirty pm.
